I am a therapist, educator, and advocate with a deep commitment to helping people who have been misunderstood, dismissed, or overwhelmed by systems that were never built for them. I founded Flourishing Future Wellness to offer a different kind of therapy—one that meets clients with clarity, respect, and clinical depth.

I am a Limited Licensed Counselor in Michigan, a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, and a Nationally Certified Counselor. My training includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in clinical mental health counseling, both from Central Michigan University. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

My clinical background includes work in community mental health, domestic violence advocacy, trauma recovery, and private practice. I have supported clients in crisis, walked with survivors through long-term healing, and worked with individuals across age, gender, and neurotype. I also teach Counseling Theories at Eastern New Mexico University and continue to support survivor communities as the author of Reclaiming Strength, a workbook for people healing from the troubled teen industry.

What I bring to this work is not just technique, but perspective. I understand how exhausting it can be to explain yourself over and over, or to try tools that were never built for the way your mind works. Therapy with me is practical, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you do not need to be fixed—you need to be heard, supported, and equipped.

If you are navigating OCD, trauma, phobias, anxiety, or neurodivergence, and are ready to build something different, I am here to help.

There is no single right way to do therapy. What works for one person may not work for another. At Flourishing Future Wellness, I use a range of evidence-based approaches and adapt them to fit your goals, preferences, and how your brain works. Therapy is collaborative. We decide together what is helpful and what needs to shift.

Walk and Talk Therapy

For clients in the Philadelphia area, I offer Walk and Talk Therapy in local parks, trails, or accessible outdoor spaces. This option combines the structure of therapy with the grounding effects of movement and nature. It can be especially helpful if you feel stuck sitting in front of a screen or find it easier to talk while walking. This format works well for many concerns, including anxiety, trauma, and OCD.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps identify patterns of thinking and behavior that contribute to distress. It focuses on building practical tools to shift those patterns and respond to challenges with more flexibility.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS invites you to understand and connect with different parts of yourself. Especially the ones that feel reactive, shut down, or stuck. The goal is not to get rid of these parts. It is to build internal trust and self-leadership.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT builds skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and communication. It is especially helpful when emotions feel overwhelming or relationships feel hard to manage.

Person-Centered Therapy

This approach centers on trust, choice, and your unique process. You set the pace. I provide a space where you are seen without judgment and where your experience guides the work.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

ERP is one of the most effective treatments for OCD and related anxiety. It involves gradually facing fears while resisting compulsions. You are always in control of the process. The goal is not to eliminate discomfort entirely. It is to reduce its control over your life.

Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT)

I-CBT targets the reasoning errors that drive OCD. Especially intrusive doubts that feel real even when they are not based in evidence. This approach helps you shift from compulsive mental review to grounded, reality-based decision-making.

You do not need to know which approach is best before starting. We figure it out together based on what feels right and what helps you move forward.
