Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on understanding how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. I use CBT to help clients identify patterns that contribute to anxiety, stress, and self-doubt, and to build practical strategies for responding more intentionally. The goal is not to eliminate difficult thoughts, but to reduce their power so they no longer dictate your choices or well-being.

Narrative Therapy

Narrative therapy centers on the stories we tell about ourselves and how those stories shape identity and behavior. This approach helps identify limiting or inherited narratives and create space for alternative perspectives that feel more accurate and empowering. Together, we work to separate you from the problem and strengthen a sense of agency, clarity, and self-trust.

Person-Centered and Strengths-Based Therapy

A person-centered, strengths-based approach emphasizes collaboration, respect, and your lived experience. Therapy is guided by what matters most to you, with attention to existing strengths, values, and resilience. This approach supports growth without judgment and creates space for change that feels authentic rather than forced.

Multicultural and Socially Conscious Therapy

My work is grounded in cultural humility and an awareness of how identity, systems, and context shape mental health. Therapy includes space to explore the impact of race, culture, gender, power, and lived experience on emotional well-being. The goal is to ensure you feel seen and supported within the full context of your life.

Values, Identity, and Life Transitions

I work with clients navigating life transitions, boundary setting, self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and questions of direction or purpose. This includes support for young adults seeking clarity around identity, values, and goals. Therapy focuses on building insight while also supporting concrete steps forward.

You do not need to know exactly what you want to work on or which approach fits best before starting therapy. We decide together what feels most supportive and adjust over time as your needs and goals evolve.

My Approach

My work is grounded in cultural humility, recognizing the impact of social systems, identity, and context on mental health and well-being. Integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy, I help clients to identify patterns and obstacles to growth, build practical coping skills, and reshape the stories they tell about themselves as they navigate and process things such as major life transitions, anxiety, stress management, boundary setting, emotional intelligence, self-esteem and overall well being.

Therapy is tailored to each individual, with a focus on fostering resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful change. I am especially passionate about helping clients, with a special interest in young adults, develop confidence, clarify values, and move toward goals that align with who they are and who they want to become. With a Masters degree in Counseling, my therapeutic style is supportive, collaborative, and empowering and I am honored to be able to support you as you navigate these next steps.

A cozy, well-lit corner of a room features a comfortable armchair with a decorative pillow. Next to the chair is a wooden side table with a lamp casting a warm glow. Light streams through a window, accentuating the natural tones of the wooden floor.
