Learn More About Moriah!
At Flourishing Future Wellness, I guide clients through healing with empathy, expertise, and a trauma-informed approach.

I am a trauma-informed therapist who works with individuals, adolescents, couples, and families navigating a range of emotional, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental concerns. My work is centered on creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, respected, and taken seriously, particularly if they have felt misunderstood, mislabeled, or underserved in previous systems of care.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, eating disorders, ADHD, autism, and personality-related challenges. I hold certifications as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am also currently enrolled in a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) program with a clinical focus on cognitive behavioral therapy, which informs my emphasis on skill-building, structured intervention, and evidence-based care.
My professional experience includes facilitating virtual therapy groups in addition to individual and family work. Group settings have strengthened my attention to interpersonal dynamics, emotional regulation in real time, and the ways people learn and practice skills in shared spaces. Across settings, I work with clients whose concerns are often complex, layered, and shaped by long-standing patterns rather than isolated symptoms.
I approach therapy as a steady and adaptive process rather than a set of techniques applied in isolation. Many people arrive feeling overwhelmed by repeated attempts at treatment that did not fully account for their history, neurotype, or lived context. My role is to help clients make sense of their experiences, build practical skills, and move toward change at a pace that is sustainable and respectful of their capacity.
Therapy with me focuses on understanding underlying patterns, strengthening emotional regulation, and supporting meaningful, long-term change. Treatment is tailored to each individual’s goals, values, and readiness. You do not need to be in crisis, nor do you need to explain or justify your experiences, in order to deserve thoughtful and competent care.
How I Work:
I use a flexible, integrative approach grounded in evidence-based practice and adapted to each client’s needs. Treatment is shaped by clinical presentation, goals, and readiness, rather than by a single theoretical orientation. Modalities are applied collaboratively and adjusted as therapy progresses.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps identify and shift patterns of thought and behavior that contribute to anxiety, depression, and emotional distress. This approach emphasizes practical tools, skill-building, and increased cognitive flexibility.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills
DBT-informed strategies support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and impulse control. These skills are especially helpful for clients experiencing intense emotions, personality-related challenges, or difficulty managing stress and relationships.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is used to support the processing of traumatic or distressing experiences that continue to impact emotional and behavioral functioning. This approach helps reduce the intensity of trauma-related responses while supporting integration and adaptive coping.
Trauma-Informed Therapy
All work is approached through a trauma-informed lens, with attention to safety, consent, pacing, and nervous system regulation. Trauma can be addressed directly when appropriate, without requiring it to be the sole focus of treatment.
Substance Use Counseling
As a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), I provide evidence-based support for individuals navigating substance use, recovery, and relapse prevention. Treatment focuses on understanding patterns, strengthening coping strategies, and supporting sustainable change without shame or judgment.
Person-Centered Therapy
Person-centered principles guide the therapeutic relationship, including respect for autonomy, collaboration, and creating a nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood.
Neurodiversity-Affirming Approaches
I work with clients with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder using strategies that honor neurodivergent experiences rather than pathologizing them. Treatment focuses on self-understanding, adaptive coping, executive functioning support, and reducing internalized stigma.
